Take one of Howth’s landmark buildings with a distinctive red-brick facade, design a warm and welcoming interior with a choice of places to eat, drink and relax on three levels, add in stunning views over the harbour and Ireland’s Eye ….and you have all the ingredients for the success story that is Wrights Findlater Howth.
On the ground floor, Findlaters Lounge is a modern, cafe-style bar with a very special ambience. In addition to a vast selection of wines, beers and spirits,Findlaters Lounge also serves a varied menu of tasty & wholesome food dishes.
The Restaurant occupies the first floor where our Findlater Fish Pie and Chowder are the speciality, tasty seafood, Chicken and Steak dishes are complemented by our carefully selected wines. Not surprisingly, it has proven popular for private parties and functions as well.
At the top of the building, the appropriately-named ’The Sky Bar’ offers breath taking views northwards along the East Coast both from the bar and the heated outdoor patio. The decor, low-lighting, cool music and the choice of drinks and finger food makes ’The Sky Bar’ one of the most popular late night venues, especially at weekends.
Wrights Findlater Howth is part of the Wright Bar Group which also includes the neighbouring Bloody Stream (just 200 metres up the road), Wrights Cafe Bar in nearby Swords and The Angler’s Rest at the Strawberry Beds in Chapelizod, Gilbert & Wrights in Malahide, Clontarf, Swords and Dun Laoghaire, The Wright Venue in Airside, Swords and Wrights Dispensary Bistro in Dalkey.
